How to Use the Filter
The filter assists player’s in finding the correct word. As one plays, they enter correct letters into the filter to produce a list of possible Wordles. One simply needs to make the best choice of the results. May the letter fae be with you. Enjoy!
Two Modes
Hard Mode
Hard mode has two types.
- A green background text box for entering good letters. Using this box will produce a list all the words having any of the letters input. I.e If you input, an I, N, and S every word having an I, N & S will result. This is the hardest mode.
- (Optional) Bad letter input boxes having gray background. Any letter input will eliminate all words having that letter. There are 16 possible letter eliminations, though it’s doubted that you will need them all.
Thus making less work for you. See diagram below.
To initiate a single letter search, input your letters, with spaces in between, into the green text box. I.e. enter E H C not EHC. No need to press enter as the filter live sorts as you input data. You will also notice two lists automatically appear appear, to the right, or below, dependent upon your device type. One is titled ‘Alphabetical’ and the other ‘Letter Count Filter.’ The search results will populate forms automatically. We will discuss the Letter Count Filter a little later. See diagram 1 below.

Substrings are when letters are combined together within the search. Let’s say you want to show all words that have an EA. Do not put a space between the E and A. Type EA in the text box, and the results will appear automatically. Again, it is not necessary, to press the enter button, to initiate the search. See diagram below.

Suppose, you also want to search for random B’s with the EA. Now you will type: EA B. Notice the space between the two sets of letters. This will result in a list of all words having and EA and all random B’s. More than two letters can be written. i.e. “Show all letters with EA and B”. Please note “EA” in the last case is a substring and that is also valid… the list will contain all words with E & A together, more than 2 letters can be written together as well. I.e. ANT will result in all words having those letters together. If you add a random P it will result in all words with ANT and a P also. See diagram belwo. * Use spaces between each letter or substring like “E H C” or “EA B” (using spaces) in the input box
